1. We all are deeply indebted to our Gurus who have blessed us with Shaktipaat tradition and have handed over a treasure so sacred, profound and of such a superior nature as Kundalini-awakening. Hence our first and foremost responsibility is to preserve this divine tradition , ensure that it is exclusively used for spiritual purposes and for elevation to new heights of glorification. In doing so, we will be paying the minimum of Guru-dakshinaa.

2. Awakening of Kundalini-Shakti of deserving aspirants clears and enlightens their paths to various Siddhis and salvation in a very short time. Because of its powers to bestow all material and spiritual achievements, this Divyaachaar-Taantrik-Shaktipaat should be kept secret, should not be easily accessible and certainly not to be publicized. The essential qualifications of Gurus and of disciples, the proper principles and rules for this have also been described clearly in Shiva-Samhita, Kulaarnava; Rudrayaamal; Mahaanirvan; Maalinivijayottar and similar Tantraas, Shaardaa-Tilak, Yogashikhopnishad, Yogachudaamanyopnishad and Kundalinyopnishad etc. With regard to its consequences, rewards and achievements, there are some definitive statements that after Vedh-dikshaa, many uncommon experiences and temporary super powers are experienced during Sadhana. Depending on the nature and capability (Samskara) of the Sadhaka, the goal of Siddhi, Shaivi-Shakti is attained and salvation is also achieved accordingly within one, three, six, nine or a maximum of twelve years of Sadhana by best, good, medium, slow and very slow aspirants respectively. But at present times, the super natural stable achievements and the desired results of this divine initiation remain elusive and un-witnessed due to extremely dull or total lack of transmission and effect of Guru-Shakti. Consequently nowadays it is being called a form of trickery, a means of gathering followers and wealth, a form of witch craft and also even plain cheating. Nothing could be more painful than this for the Gurus, disciples and followers of this tradition. Every sincere and knowledgeable person of this tradition feels sorry and regretful at this state of affairs and justly so.

3. It had been my intention for a long time to find out the causes, which have seemingly rendered this Divine Initiation almost impotent, semi-effective and to degenerate. Among the possible causes, I think the major cause of the above hopeless condition of Shaktipaat Initiation are the cheap, irresponsible, undisciplined and totally prohibited methods prevalent among the Gurus and disciples. Under the pre-text of the welfare of masses or society, expansion and propagation of the ancient Gurus' tradition etc., they probably are mainly concerned with satisfying their own self-created worldly desires and ambitions.

4. Aforesaid Shaastras and literature clearly and vividly delineate and direct with regard to the qualification for a Guru and an aspirant of this ultimate initiation. It is stated : “Sadguru for this Dikshaa is one who has achieved Shaambhava-Bhaava and self-realization through his renunciation, Saadhana, penance, dedication and service to Guru, Shaastra-Studies, relinquishing bodily ego and materialistic desires, destruction of animalistic instincts present in ordinary human beings and who is efficient in controlling and transmitting the Divine-power and its effects, who himself has achieved salvation and is quite capable of bestowing to his disciples the same along with other gratification they may have desired. It is further stated that Guru must be one who deals with worldly affairs with tranquility and in isolation, is monosyllabic but talks pleasantly, is competent in perceiving thoughts intuitively and conveying them as well, is an expert in judging the suitability of the aspirant, who is physically healthy, free from disease and deformities and is pleasant and graceful. It is instructed that a Guru must not crave for more and more disciples; should not initiate aspirants for his livelihood and fulfillment of worldly needs or desires. One year, six months or at least three months period should be devoted in judging the suitability and mutual harmony and only there after if every thing is found suitable and favorable, this initiation must be performed. This very special divine initiation should not be performed for purposes of greed, affection, recommendation, curiosity, name and fame. If by mistake or unknowingly this has been given to an unsuitable, incompetent and untrue aspirant, the Guru must exercise his annulment (Niggrah) power to take it back. If this initiation is given or received in utter violation of Shaastra-stated rules and procedures, both the Guru and the disciple will face this Divine Power's anger and curse. It is a sin and will lead to hell, degradation or to lower life."

5. Similarly there are directions and instructions for its aspirants Stating : "Guru should be accepted in accordance with one's objective, status and aspiration after judging and examining the Guru very well and not only because of his publicized fame, under the influence of mere hear-say or other statements. Guru should only be accepted after close contact, dealings and interactions with him for as long a period as stated already. If the assurance of achievements according to the objective, agreeable nature and thoughts and clear experience of 'Guru’s power and capacity are established, then only the aspirant should surrender himself to Guru. He must disclose before the Guru truthfully and with devotion, simplicity and without any manipulation, all the good and bad deeds done by him, his desired goal, social and financial conditions clearly. Afterwards Guru should be obeyed. After initiation by Mantra or Shaktipaat, he should present offerings according to his best capacity and status (Grihastha, Baanprastha or Sannyaas Ashram) of Guru and must stay with the Guru so long as necessary and Guru permits. If by mistake or confusion an incompetent or undeserving Guru has been accepted, then he should be given up in accordance with Shaastra's instructions and some other capable, suitable Guru should be sought, else results could be comparable to playing with a poisonous snake." (Compiled from Mahaayogavigyaan)

6. No effort and act which is in violation of Shastra-framed rules and discipline can benefit human beings or society in a long lasting and meaningful way, no matter how appropriate and well meaning they might appear. Acceptance of incompetent, incapable Guru or aspirant is ill yielding and forbidden to the same extent as giving up a competent, capable and qualified one.

7. .For aspirants of different levels and stages (Samskaras) there are many different ways and paths of Sadhana in the spiritual world. They all have their respective teachers, masters or Achaaryaas and initiations accordingly. But this Divine Shaktipaat Diksha has been described to be the most effective, ultimate and superior and the qualifications of its Gurus and disciples have been specifically and specially mentioned, lacking which no body can be a real Guru or disciple of this Diksha. This is not open to all irrespective of the The ones nominated by some Guru or self-nominated Gurus motivated by greed, passion, delusion, name, fame and worldly attractions such as heading an Ashram or institution, are not fit Gurus for this particular initiation. Some are not sufficiently capable of containing the sudden burst of power and its accidental passage or transfer in others, they confuse this inefficiency to be a Siddhi and become self-nominated Guru of this Diksha. This is an absolutely horrible mistake. If the above stated Gurus initiate aspirants, they are bound to be cursed by this Divine power to lower forms, sinfulness and self-destruction. No one's real welfare is possible from them. They are destructive, will weaken this tradition and bring about ill fame. To award Guru-Pada with the aim of running an Ashram, monarchy or Gaddi is deplorable and forbidden. Those who have accepted positions in such ways, commit dire sin.

8. In the light of the above, I urge all Gurus, Sadhaks, heads of Ashrams/institutions, devotees, well-wishers and followers of this tradition that in this Yajna for uplifting this Divine heredity, repaying of the traditional Guru-Rin (debt), every body pro-vide his Saattvik sacrifices related to him and proposed as under :

A. The proposer himself is a nominated Guru and therefore, first of all proposes that all Gurus must indulge in self-inspection quite honestly and if they feel in them the lack of qualifications imposed and prescribed by Shaastras, they must stop initiating willingly sacrificing their desires, worldly status and materialistic gains etc. They should wholly commit to intense rigorous Sadhana, meditation and penance with enlightened mind (Sattvik Bhava). They must attain stated super powers and self-realization at first. They should not use their present disciples as the means of fulfilling their worldly desires.

B. In this particularly supreme path of Shaktipaat, accumulation of disciples, wealth, prestige, publicity by posters, fliers, papers, magazines, collective show of gathering etc. are strictly forbidden. Even then established institutions and Ashrams can be regarded as physical symbols of this Divya-Viddya. If they do not function to guard, elevate, uplift and bring about constant progress of this tradition, then like a lifeless body, they accentuate the unwanted, undesired and unseen harms and are themselves responsible for this all. Therefore, the Ashrams and institutions that are presently devoted to fulfilling the materialistic and egoistic needs of any special one or a selected small number of individuals, should show judiciousness and sacrifice by relinquishing such activities. They should redirect their efforts towards research based on uplifting, progress and elevation of this Shaktipaat Tradition. For this, identification and selection of a few truly dedicated, ardent, motivated, superior aspirants is needed. To provide for them and keep them engaged in intense and constant rigorous Sadhana researching higher achievements of this initiation is essential. This will enable the true seekers to see and experience clearly the secrets and achievements that are possible but rarely seen these days. By doing so, they will contribute to the elevation and glorification of this tradition & fulfill the real objective of these Ashrams which are no more than mere symbols at the moment. For this grand and gracious objective, the possibilities of a Kendriya-Shodh-Sansthan (Central Research Institute) may be considered, where truly motivated and curious ardent seekers could engage in intense rigorous Sadhana and penance, Shaastra-studies under the capable guidance and supervision and will be able to transform themselves eventually into a capable and qualified real Siddha Guru who could bear the torch and flame of this tradition and enlighten, elevate this Divine path to its ancient glory.

C. Initiated Saadhakgan must definitely fix their objective first, should engage themselves in Sadhana with full devotion and efforts until the achievement of the desired goal. No one should get initiation as a matter of hobby, enjoyment, curiosity, just to follow others or under the influence of publicity, and propaganda and to portray himself as a religious , pious, spiritual being. Devotion, faith and service of Gurudeva is essential in Sadhana, but this all should be done considering the Guru only as a symbol (Murti) of Lord Shiva, and never Lord Shiva Himself. The physical egoistic and Shaivi-Bhava beyond body of Gurudeva must be differentiated and dealt in accordance with respective stages (Grihastha, Baanprastha or Sannyaas etc.) of life as stated in the Shaastras. The disciples must put forth the best of their efforts to know this all. The worship, devotion and service contrary to the above or of Taamsik nature will remain fruitless and may become a sin also.

9. In this Parampara-Utkarsha-Yajna, please forward your experienced valued opinion, suggestions, amendments and cooperation. Please contact your well known Gurus and Saadhaks to respond or forward their addresses so that this program may be mailed to them also.

10. Those who keep quiet in the face of the above challenge wish to escape this hard work, sacrifice and much needed call of the situation. The true seekers, Saadhaks and genuine well-wishing Gurus will at least think, act, participate and resolve by taking suitable actions. I humbly expect appropriate response from you all as early as possible. With thanks and Jai-Gurudeva, in the service of Gurudeva :
